How did you select Houston’s River Oaks as your next destination?
I am inspired by the elegance, boldness and femininity of the Texan woman. We received such a warm and wonderful welcome from the community in Dallas that Houston felt like the natural next step.
What will set this particular location apart? Can you elaborate on the interior design?
We wanted the space to feel inviting yet elevated. The boutique will encapsulate the entire Herrera universe—from eveningwear and handbags to fragrance and beauty.

Gordon recently revealed his SS26 collection at the Plaza Mayor in the heart of Madrid.
Can you expand on your recently unveiled collection in Madrid?
We presented our SS26 collection at the iconic Plaza Mayor in the heart of Madrid, in front of over 1,000 people. We designed the collection to match the grandeur and scale of the venue, and as an homage to the beautiful city of Madrid.
What are you most excited about in fashion’s current climate?
There is a special energy and excitement in what people are feeling toward fashion and runway shows again. This both challenges and allows us to be more creative when putting together a collection and putting new designs out there.
Anything else moving forward?
We are very excited about this new Texas chapter and look forward to strengthening our wonderful community in Houston. There are many exciting things coming to the House, but one I am most thrilled about is our new collection of handbags launching in the Spring.
