15 New Spring Fashion Releases at Target

I’ve seen far too many inches of snow at this point, and I’ve never felt more ready for spring (and summer). Sadly, we’re still weeks away from an official warmup, so I’m lifting my own spirits by shopping Target’s newest spring fashion releases. They’re so good and giving me hope for sunnier days ahead.

Cardigans are some of my most-worn spring pieces because they’re perfect to throw on as an added layer on chilly days and nights or as a pretty finishing touch to make a tee-and-jeans outfit feel a little more elevated. This one caught my eye because of the 100 percent cotton fabric, open-knit design, and scallops on the cuffs and neckline. Other shoppers agree, too—it’s sold more than 1,000 times in the past few weeks alone.

Before I buy shoes from more expensive brands, I always check Target first. I find the retailer’s shoes are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever worn, and they hold up well over time, too. I suspect these Spencer Sneakers are ready for miles and miles of wear because they have a memory foam insole to add extra cushioning for long days on your feet. I’m also obsessed with the lace detailing, which takes the cream sneaks from typical to eye-catching. I would wear these with jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts, and athleisure.  

As I mentioned with the cardigan, I’m scallop-obsessed, so this midi A-line dress quickly caught my eye. It’s made from 100 percent cotton, which will feel comfy in the spring and totally breathable in the summer when temperatures reach their peak. And I also love the button-up detailing, sweetheart neckline, and deep purple color. I have an upcoming graduation party that this would be perfect for, and I would style it with sandals, block heels, or wedges. Bonus: If you’re a bride, the white would be perfect for a bridal shower or a more casual rehearsal dinner. 

Finding a great fitting swimsuit can feel like such a process, but Target always has great flattering and modest options. This one-piece is so classic with its scoop neckline; wide, adjustable straps; full coverage bottom; and timeless black and white colors. Pick this up before upcoming spring break trips, and wear it all summer, too. 

With my high arches, mules typically slip off of my feet, but I think these Ida Flats might be a different story thanks to the cross strap. I love the neutral colors that’ll pair with everything in my closet, and the woven material with bow details are trendy while still feeling classic. I’m also impressed that these have built-in memory foam for extra comfort, just like the Spencer Sneakers highlighted above.
