Two minors, aged 14 and 15, were arrested in western Greece for assaulting a peer and sharing footage of the incident on social media, authorities said.
The 14-year-old allegedly struck a fellow student in the face and then psychologically coerced him to kneel and apologize to individuals not present at the scene. The 15-year-old filmed the incident on the younger teen’s mobile phone, and the video was later posted online.
Both minors face charges including bodily harm against a vulnerable person, illegal coercion, and violations of data protection laws. Their mothers were also taken into custody for neglecting their supervisory duties.
Authorities seized the 14-year-old’s phone as evidence. The case file will be submitted to the local prosecutor for further action.
