The year 2025 is gone and so is our patience for questionable fashion. The red carpet delivered drama… mostly the kind we wish we could have gone without seeing. From Jim Jones and those tired-ass Timberland boots to Halle Berry’s “cat and her hat” Met Gala appearance, we’re counting down the year’s most cringe-worthy looks.
Megan Thee Stallion
As monumental as Megan Thee Stallion’s music has been for fans, the fashion just hasn’t been giving what it’s supposed to give us. We will never forgive her stylist for sending her onto the red carpet in this rolled-up mess. Here’s hoping for a new style—and maybe a new stylist—in 2026, Meg.
Whoopi Goldberg
First, we love Whoopi! Love her. So no shade here for this beautiful Queen. However, if you need to know how to show up to a red carpet event underdressed, Whoopi Goldberg is the blueprint. The iconic actress has made it her business not to give a single damn about what she wears, and honestly, we still love her for it.
Cynthia Erivo
Cynthia Erivo can open the gates to heaven with her powerful vocals. Fashion-wise, though, the “Wicked” singer may leave you stuck in a scrunch face.
Ice Spice
Bronx rapper Ice Spice has never missed a moment to give a true fashionista a headache. The “Munch” rapper wore a lace, see-through dress that revealed matching panties at a children’s movie premiere — yes, you read that right. Do we really need to explain further why she is one of the worst-dressed?
Tessa Thompson
No one has ever questioned Tessa Thompson’s acting abilities. Her fashion sense, however, is still a question mark. Where’s the style? Where’s the “wow” factor? At this point, it’s giving tired, and we need Thompson to wake us up. Tighten up, girl!
Kash Doll
We will never forgive Kash Doll’s team for approving this dry fashion look. Put some more “kash” into having a team who will look out for your red carpet looks, girl. You deserve better!
Glorilla
Glorilla really has a phenomenal musical year, but we can’t say the same for most– if not all — fashion looks. From lace-up dresses to the same tired cropped tops, we’re begging our girl to step it up as she steps into the new year.
Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson’s 2025 style can be summed up in one line: she doesn’t wear the clothes—the clothes wear her. For an EGOT winner, we expect a little more elevation. And when someone compared this look to a Divine 9 (D9) sorority uniform? After laughing out tears… we can’t unsee it.
Venus Williams
Venus Williams’s fashion gave us some of the most unforgettable… forgettable moments of 2025. And those Jiminy Cricket–inspired shoes? We’ll never understand her reason.
Jim Jones
Jim Jones is the old/young rapper who has graced the industry. The “Fly High” rapper has yet to elevate from loose Timberland boots to Tom Ford loafers. As much as we love him, it’s time to see Jones step fully into his grown-man element in the new year.
