2XKO has been in the hands of PC players for a few months already, and it seems now we know when console owners can get in on the action too.
Riot Games appears to have accidentally posted a trailer early that leaked their own Season 1 release date.
Their trailer appeared on YouTube, which has since been privated, but was saved by users and posted elsewhere online.
Previously, Riot stated 2XKO Season 1 was coming sometime in January, and now we know the exact date.
At the end of the trailer, it claims that the League of Legends fighting game will be leaving early access and hitting consoles on January 20, 2026.
This means it’ll be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and of course PC where 2XKO will then offer cross-save and cross-platform play finally.
Hopefully this works better without any random notifications, but here’s the actual trailer for 2XKO’s console launch.

There’s not really any other new information found in the pulled trailer, so we don’t know the full scope of what’s going to be added and included for the full launch.
One thing we do know, however, is that Caitlyn will be the new champion added to 2XKO Season 1, and we presume that she’ll be coming on the same date as well.
2XKO has had a rough time in terms of leaks so far starting with Teemo being data-mined ahead of his official announcement.
Riot themselves accidentally posted Warwick’s reveal trailer early too.
So Caitlyn has really been the only thing that hasn’t leaked about the game since it launched on PC.
The Season 1 update should also contain new balance updates for the entire roster as well, so we should be learning more about those changes closer to the launch date.
We’ll also have to wait to learn about any other new features, content and any other changes coming in the new year.
