New Movies Streaming
‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ (2025)
Jennifer Lopez says she long dreamed of playing the lead role in this adaptation, one of the most ambitious movies of 2025. Based on the Tony Award-winning musical of the same name, “Kiss of the Spider Woman” begins in a prison, where Valentin (Diego Luna, “Andor”) bonds with his cellmate (Tonatiuh) through remembrances of his favorite musical and its magnetic star, Ingrid Luna (Lopez).
How to watch: “Kiss of the Spider Woman” is streaming on Hulu.
‘Paul McCartney: Man on the Run’ (2026)
Another Beatles documentary? I’m not complaining. This one, from Oscar-winning director Morgan Neville, focuses on Sir Paul’s split from The Beatles, the formation of Wings, and his late wife, Linda, among other topics.
How to watch: “Paul McCartney: Man on the Run” is streaming on Prime Video.
New TV Shows Streaming
‘Bridgerton’ (Season 4)
The fourth season of this hit show, which debuted at the end of January, focuses on second son Benedict (Luke Thompson), whose bachelor ways start to change after meeting the mysterious Lady Silver (Yerin Ha) at the masquerade ball. The Cinderella story faces complications when it turns out the silver lady is actually a handmaiden named Sophie in disguise, and not a member of high society. Oh my stars, what a delicious scandal!
How to watch: “Bridgerton” Season 4 (Part 2) is streaming on Netflix.
‘DTF St. Louis’
We’ve got some swinging suburbanites behaving badly in this new limited series, with Jason Bateman (“Arrested Development”) and David Harbour (“Stranger Things”) playing coworkers who have fun on a hookup app until the latter turns up dead. Linda Cardellini plays Harbour’s wife, and both Richard Jenkins and Peter Sarsgaard turn up for the fun as well.
How to watch: “DTF St. Louis” is streaming on HBO Max.
“Paradise” Season 2
If you haven’t watched the first season of “Paradise” yet, stop reading this. For those who know about the twist from the show’s very first episode, Sterling K. Brown’s rogue Secret Service Agent has now left the safety of the post-apocalyptic bunker in search of his missing wife. By the way, has anyone else noticed that post-COVID, seemingly every showrunner was inspired to write a bunker show? Coincidence, I’m sure.
How to watch: “Paradise” Season 2 is streaming on Hulu.
More new TV shows streaming this week: “American Classic” (MGM+), “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins” (Peacock); “Marshals” (Paramount+); “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” Season 2 (Apple TV+); “Scrubs” Season 10 (Hulu)
