So, you’re getting pretty overkill refresh rates here, designed with super-fast, competitive gaming in mind. This monitor can switch between QHD at 540Hz and FHD at 720Hz, which is seriously fast. It also has 0.02ms response time, which is a touch lower than many of the best gaming monitors on the market, and ensures that you’ll be able to play at very high framerates, without running into much in the way of ghosting or motion blur.
FreeSync Premium Pro
This is the top level of FreeSync, and it brings a few new features to the table in addition to its ability to reduce screen tearing. What you’ve got is low-framerate compensation and improved HDR performance. LFC is great if you run into situations where fps dips below the monitor’s bottom-level refresh rate, and better HDR performance allows for smoother gameplay with reduced lag, sometimes caused by switching HDR on when gaming, which is essential for OLED monitors that are best used to showcase HDR content in all its glory.

OLED display
OLEDs, as I’m sure you’re aware, are notable for their impressive contrast ratios and color, but can be a little on the dim side, as they’re not traditionally backlit. The good news here is that this is one of the brightest OLED monitors on the market, coming in at 335 nits typical, which is actually pretty good in all honesty. In fact, it’s earned a DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, which is one-up from most QD-OLED monitors I come across, and not every OLED can get this if they don’t deliver super deep blacks, bright highlights, and over 95% of the DCI-P3 color range. Expect very lifelike picture quality with this monitor, and for brightness that will make it much more visable in well-lit environments than your typical OLED display.
Things to consider
If you’ve got a high-powered gaming rig that’s capable of hitting seriously impressive framerates at QHD and FHD, this is a great option, but if not, I’d highly advise sticking with a QHD 360Hz, QD-OLED option instead. These are going to be more affordable and are often found on sale, and will give you everything you need for fast-paced gaming and lifelike picture quality, without completely breaking the bank.
