Ryan Murphy‘s record-breaking show Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette may have come to an end this week, but there are more exciting movies and shows on their way, albeit sans the equivalent of American royalty.
This weekend, March 28-29, a new campy horror movie hits theaters featuring the It Girls of 2026, including Lola Tung, fresh off her The Summer I Turned Pretty success.
Elsewhere, a beloved icon who has earned her place in Disney Channel’s Mount Rushmore celebrated the 20th (yes, we feel old, too) anniversary of her eponymous show.
And there’s more! Here’s a list of the six best new movies and shows to watch this weekend and where to stream them, curated by PEOPLE’s film and TV experts.
Forbidden Fruits
This horror comedy invests all its energy into girl power — for good and a little evil too.
Riverdale alum Lili Reinhart proves her scream queen prowess as Apple, the leader of a group (including Alexandra Shipp and Victoria Pedretti) bound together by their fruit-themed names and retail jobs in a Texas mall.
After hours, they become more coven than clique, mixing potions and casting spells that don’t sit right with newcomer Pumpkin (Tung). Social media star Emma Chamberlain drives a twisted plot in her feature film debut. — ZOEY LYTTLE
Forbidden Fruits releases in theaters on March 27.
Daredevil: Born Again season 2
Once again, Charlie Cox’s blind lawyer-slash-vigilante Matt Murdock (a.k.a. Daredevil) is up against Vincent D’Onofrio’s Mayor Wilson Fisk (a.k.a. Kingpin) to end his corruptive reign on N.Y.C.
The superhero drama’s second season takes on fearlessly dark political storylines and sees Krysten Ritter’s much-anticipated return to the Marvel franchise. Matthew Lillard makes a delightful debut as an enigmatic power player. — RAVEN BRUNNER

Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special
It’s been 20 years since Miley Cyrus first put the platinum blonde wig on, cementing her into the Disney Channel hall of fame as a girl living in the best of both worlds: a regular Malibu teen and a world-renowned popstar, Hannah Montana.

Heartbreak High season 3
The reboot of the ’90s Australian teen series came to an emotional end as it wrapped up its third season.
Amerie (Ayesha Madon) and Malakai (Thomas Weatherall) finally found the answer to their “will-they-won’t they” relationship, and the group of ragtag teens crossed the stage at graduation — marking a milestone moment amid their endless drama. — REBECCA AIZIN

Mike & Nick & Nick & Alex
In this action-comedy, Nick (Vince Vaughn), a gangster, time-travels back six months to team up with himself and save his partner Mike (James Marsden), who is sleeping with his wife (Eiza González).
Nothing about that plot sounds great, but the movie is a blast, filled with hilariously silly, well-choreographed fight scenes, flawless needle-drops and quips that are genuinely funny. — BREANNE L. HELDMAN
Watch Mike & Nick & Nick & Alex on Hulu.
America’s Culinary Cup
This standout competition pits 16 highly decorated chefs against one another in a sophisticated kitchen battle that feels like the Succession version of Top Chef, complete with host Padma Lakshmi as the kinder, gentler Logan Roy, determining who will win it all.
And “all” in this case is $1 million — the biggest cash prize in cooking-show history — and bragging rights among the culinary elite. — STACY LAMBE
