Trans people have always shaped culture – often without the visibility, credit, or economic support they deserve.
Transgender Day of Visibility is a great time to start changing that, but our support shouldn’t stop on March 31. When you support a trans-owned business, you’re buying a product that supports the livelihoods of the creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs behind it.
Below, we’ve compiled a list of trans-owned and trans-led brands across fashion, art, jewelry, and more. Some are available on our e-commerce store, LGBTQ Outpost; others we’re highlighting because they’re still worth knowing and supporting directly. Together, they reflect the range, creativity, and perspective that trans individuals continue to bring to the broader LGBTQ+ landscape.
Explore the brands, learn their stories, and when something resonates, put your support behind it.

Ash + Chess is a queer- and trans-owned stationery and gift brand founded by couple Ashley Molesso and Chess Needham. Based in Kingston, New York, the brand produces greeting cards, art prints, and everyday goods defined by bold color palettes and culturally rooted messaging.
Since debuting at the National Stationery Show in 2017, Ash + Chess has expanded to more than 1,000 retailers across the United States and internationally. Their work spans both independent retail and major collaborations, including projects with Target, Skittles, Nooworks, and HarperCollins.
They are also the authors of multiple publications, including The Gay Agenda, Queer Tarot, and several illustrated books focused on gender, identity, and queer history. Awarewolf is a trans-owned clothing brand founded by Landon Reed in 2015. The company began as a way to fund his top surgery and has since grown into an LGBTQ+ owned and operated apparel brand that creates designs by and for the community.
The brand offers a wide range of styles, from bold statement pieces to more understated designs for those who may not feel safe being fully out in every environment. This range reflects a focus on meeting people across different identities and levels of visibility.
Since its launch, Awarewolf has continued to expand its product offerings across sizes, colors, and formats, building a customer base around identity-driven design and everyday wearability. Awarewolf isn’t available on LGBTQ Outpost (yet!), but you can shop them directly.
Mars Wright

Mars Wright is a trans artist and designer whose work spans fashion, murals, and public art. Originally from Joshua Tree, California, he is a self-taught mixed-media artist whose practice centers on accessibility and self-expression.
His early work was created using whatever materials were available, including illustrations on free USPS Priority Mail stickers. That approach continues to shape his belief that art should be accessible beyond traditional institutions.
His murals and clothing are part of the visual landscape of queer public art in Los Angeles, and you can shop Mars Wright prints and clothing directly.
Automic Gold

The brand offers one of the broadest size ranges in the jewelry industry, along with custom work tailored to individual needs. Each piece is created with an emphasis on comfort, durability, and long-term wear.
Automic Gold operates with a distinct business model, including profit-sharing with employees, capped executive pay, and no outside investor funding. These decisions shape how the company approaches pricing, production, and labor.
