After about three years in the Fashion Mall at Keystone Crossing, Big Woods restaurant has closed its north Indianapolis location.
The restaurant was one of seven throughout Indiana and the newest one, opening in 2022.
According to a notice on the Big Woods website, “As of January 4, 2026, this location has been permanently closed. Please visit one of our sister restaurants in the area of Speedway and Noblesville.”
Big Woods started in 2009 as a microbrewery and gastropub in Nashville. According to the website, it opened a second store in Brown County in 2011, followed by Big Woods Bloomington in 2014. In 2016, Big Woods expanded again to Speedway, then to Franklin in 2017, and then Noblesville and Edinburgh in 2020.
There were no public announcements about the Fashion Mall location’s closing prior to Jan. 4.
