HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — January 07, 2026 — Rosie Hong, a rising fashion-tech startup specializing in bespoke tailoring, today announces the official international rollout of its proprietary “Phygital” measurement algorithm. Following a successful beta phase in late 2025, this technology is now available to US customers, aiming to overcome the limitations of standard 3D body scanning apps and bring true bespoke quality to the online market.

For years, the online custom clothing industry has struggled with high return rates due to sizing errors. Most existing 3D scanning solutions capture only “static body measurements” (the skin) but fail to account for “garment measurements” (the cloth), fabric drape, and movement allowance. Furthermore, user errors such as incorrect camera angles often lead to distorted data.

Rosie Hong’s new solution addresses these bottlenecks by integrating three layers of technology:

Camera Tilt Correction: An automated filter that detects and corrects perspective distortions caused by improper phone placement during the scanning process.

Master Tailor Logic: A proprietary algorithm built upon two years of R&D and the expertise of master tailors with over 30 years of experience. This layer converts raw body data into garment patterns that respect the “ease” and comfort required for daily movement.

Hyper-Realistic Visualization: Enabling customers to visualize the final product with high fidelity before production.

“We realized that AI alone cannot replace the artisan’s eye. A raw scan gives you a mannequin, not a human being,” said Ms. Rosie Hong, Founder and CEO of Rosie Hong. “We didn’t just build an app; we digitized the intuition of a traditional tailor. Our ‘Phygital’ model uses technology to capture data, but uses human expertise to interpret it. This allows us to serve clients in the US and Europe with the same precision as if they were in our studio in Vietnam.”

With the official launch of this technology, Rosie Hong is now expanding operations to serve international customers, particularly focusing on the US market. The brand is committed to proving that high-quality, sustainable bespoke fashion can be accessible globally through the right blend of technology and craftsmanship.
