Searching for a memorable way to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Seattle? Pacific Science Center is hosting a special Valentine’s-themed installment of its popular Science After Dark series. Designed for guests 21 and older, this adults-only evening invites you to wander the museum without kids and experience interactive exhibits, dating-themed programming, and plenty of opportunities to mingle.
Happening Saturday, February 14 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., the event welcomes singles, couples, and everyone in between for a night of science-inspired fun. Explore the Tropical Butterfly House and more than 70 exhibits, participate in a dating-themed comedy show, peek into your dating future with a free tarot reading, and meet new people at the Anti-Freeze Mixer.

- Mating and Dating: Discover the science of love, sex, and relationships in the animal world with Woodland Park Zoo educator Janel Kempf.
- Web of Desire: Get an up-close look at spiders and watch them feed during a talk led by PacSci Living Exhibit Manager Hannah Held.

- Paint and sip: Pick up a canvas, paint a friend, and leave with your own take-home masterpiece.
- Complimentary tarot readings from Primal Mystic Tarot and Susanna Cagle of Attune Yoga.
- Free caricatures from Catch the Sunshine with a floral twist inspired by the question, “What do you look like as a flower?”
Mixers & Entertainment
- Fun & Flirty Comedy Show: Hosted by comedians Zahnae Aquino and Jesse Warren, this interactive mashup of comedy and dating features local singles introduced via PowerPoint, plus live speed dates with audience volunteers.
- Anti-Freeze Mixer: Whether you’re seeking new friends or sparks of romance, stop by this social hour led by Seattle Social Club for icebreaker activities and connection. Bracelets will be provided so you can let people know you’re single and ready to mingle!

Come hungry because Thai U Up Food Truck will be present. You can also treat yourself or your date to sweet treats from Maeve Chocolates and Lady Yum Macarons. Beer, wine, and cocktails will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.
