The tour will bring the explosive energy of a Mardi Gras parade to Tampa with fellow New Orleans ambassadors New Breed Brass Band joining as special guests. The tour has turned into an annual musical celebration, a traveling block party that translates the vibrant spirit of New Orleans into a spectacular live show.

Known for their high-energy performances, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will deliver a powerhouse set of blistering funk, soulful R&B, and ecstatic jazz-infused rock, all built on the foundational traditions of their hometown.

This tour is a true family affair, as Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will be joined by special guests New Breed Brass Band, led by Shorty’s nephew, Jenard Andrews. The lineup is a live celebration of their powerful 2025 joint album, “Second Line Sunday.” Released exactly 20 years to the day after Hurricane Katrina, the album serves as a joyous and defiant reflection on culture, survival, and resilience. Produced by Shorty and dedicated to his late mother, who first introduced him to the second line tradition, “Second Line Sunday” is a “joyous cultural travelogue” that honors the authentic sound of the streets. Having both bands on the road together brings the album’s multi-generational energy to life, offering audiences a direct link to the past, present, and future of New Orleans’ most vital music.

Trombone Shorty’s 2025 highlights include a performance of “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl and in a new CNN docuseries “New Orleans: Soul of a City,” which explores the Crescent City’s resilience, music, and culture 20 years after Hurricane Katrina. He also headlined shows at iconic venues like The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, joined Mumford & Sons’ star-studded “Railroad Revival Tour,” and closed out the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for the 11th consecutive year with his signature Sunday finale set.

The Outlaws

CLEARWATER — The Outlaws will perform on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 19-20, 7:30 p.m., at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater.

Tickets start at $50.50. Visit www.rutheckerdhall.com or call 727-791-7400.

Formed in Tampa in 1972, The Outlaws are known for their triple-guitar rock attack and three-part country harmonies. The band’s first three albums — “The Outlaws,” “Lady In Waiting” and “Hurry Sundown” — featured such rock radio favorites as “There Goes Another Love Song,” “Green Grass & High Tides,” “Knoxville Girl” and “Freeborn Man,” which would become worldwide gold and platinum landmarks of the Southern rock era. As live performers, the band burns hotter than ever. For Henry Paul, Jeff Aulich, Jimmy Dormire, Randy Threet, Dave Robbins, and Mike Bailey, it’s all about a band of brothers who love playing their own brand of rock, and who 40 years ago first got the chance to share it with to the world.

The legendary multi-platinum East Coast rock and roll group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band began their career in 1972 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the “Eddie & The Cruisers Motion Picture Soundtrack.” The hit single “On the Dark Side” held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for five consecutive weeks.

Bilheimer Capitol Theatre

The Electric Light Orchestra Experience is a multimedia concert celebration of the music of Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Featuring Evil Woman, a 11-piece band complete with violins, viola, cello co-existing with electric guitars, classic rock intersects with pop … just as Jeff Lynne intended.

This production includes unique video content for each song as the fusion of Beatlesque-pop and classical arrangements performed by Evil Woman’s 12 musicians, including a live string section, is brought to life.

The attention to detail on vocal harmonies and string arrangements is astonishingly similar to all of ELO’s original recordings. “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Telephone Line,” “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Livin’ Thing,” “Evil Woman” and “Roll Over Beethoven” are among a list of over 20 instantly recognizable chart-topping hit songs.

Bilheimer Capitol Theatre

Grant’s career spans more than 40 years and stretches from her roots in gospel into becoming an iconic pop star, songwriter, television personality, philanthropist and has become as some have dubbed her, “The Queen Of Christmas” with her millions of Christmas albums sold over the years.

With three multi-platinum albums, six platinum albums and four gold albums, her total career album sales have exceeded 30 million and over 1 billion global streams. Grant’s chart success has been consistent throughout her career with six No. 1 hits, 10 Top 40 pop singles, 17 Top 40 Adult Contemporary tracks and multiple Contemporary Christian chart-toppers. In addition to her six Grammy Awards, Grant has earned 26 Dove Awards (including four Artist of the Year Awards) and has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as the Music City Walk of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Conventional wisdom has it that Grant put Contemporary Christian music on the map becoming the first contemporary Christian artist to have a platinum record, the first to hit No. 1 on the pop charts and the first to perform at the Grammy Awards. With that, her legacy as one of the most influential artists of the past four decades is assured.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

CLEARWATER — Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform on Monday, Feb. 23, 8 p.m., at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater.

Tickets start at $44. Visit www.rutheckerdhall.com or call 727-791-7400.

Last year marked the 32-year anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s remarkable arrival onto the music scene. Since its formation in the early 1990s in Ventura, California, the band has toured virtually nonstop, performing on average over 150 shows a year, and has produced a sizable catalog of recorded music, with sales of over 2 million albums to date. Early on, during their legendary residency at the Derby nightclub in Los Angeles, they reminded the world, in the midst of the grunge era no less, that it was still cool to swing. The band, co-founded by singer Scotty Morris and drummer Kurt Sodergren, was at the forefront of the swing revival of that time, blending a vibrant fusion of the classic American sounds of jazz, swing, and Dixieland, with the energy and spirit of contemporary culture.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s all original core line-up includes Scotty Morris (lead vocals and guitar), Kurt Sodergren (drums), Dirk Shumaker (double bass and vocals), Andy Rowley (baritone saxophone and vocals), Glen “The Kid” Marhevka (trumpet), Karl Hunter (saxophones and clarinet) and Joshua Levy (piano and arranger).

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s efforts to promote and revitalize swing music have taken shape as much more than a simple tribute. Taking inspiration from the creators of this uniquely American art form, the band’s original horn-infused music and legendary high energy show introduces the genre to a new and younger generation while remaining cognizant and respectful of the music’s rich legacy.

After 32 years, 11 records, over 3,000 live shows, and countless appearances in film and television, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is showing no signs of slowing down, and is looking forward to sharing its music with new and old fans alike.

Jannus Live

Maddox Batson

ST. PETERSBURG — Maddox Batson will perform on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 7 p.m., at Jannus Live, 200 First Ave. N., St. Petersburg.

Tickets start at $50.44. Visit www.jannuslive.com.

Batson navigates the world with wisdom and wit far beyond his 14 years. After the Nashville-born, Alabama-based songwriter began gaining notoriety covering songs from Zach Bryan, Red Clay Strays, and more, he started to write his own songs. Thanks to early singles like “Tears In The River” and “I Wanna Know,” Batson quickly showed that he wasn’t only a star at covering country hits, but an excellent writer of his own home-cooked cuts — a practice he saw first-hand as a co-writer on Lana Del Rey and Quavo’s smash hit collaboration, “Tough.”

Now, with the arrival of his latest single, “X’s,” Maddox Batson is ready to show the world you’re never too young to be the face of music all while preparing for live shows across the country and more new music. Life is moving fast for the multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar & mandolin) and he’s trying his best to remain a kid while becoming next up in country-pop music. “It can be overwhelming, this life, but I’ve got a lot of good people surrounding me,” he explains. “I’m still just a kid, though, and I’m happy about that.”

Jannus Live

Maddie & Tae

ST. PETERSBURG — Maddie & Tae will perform on Thursday, Feb. 19, 7 p.m., at Jannus Live, 200 First Ave. N., St. Petersburg.

Tickets start at $42.31. Visit www.jannuslive.com.

Maddie & Tae can’t help themselves. Since bursting into public consciousness with the power-acoustic slayer “Girl In A Country Song,” which skewered BroCountry’s female stereotypes and received the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame’s coveted I Wish I Wrote That Song honor, the ride-or-die besties have been speaking truth about what it means to be smart, young women.

“Die From a Broken Heart,” their second No. 1 which went RIAA gold at the same time it hit country’s Top 40, was an unblinking look at the way being dumped can lay one out. But Maddie Font and Tae Kerr have never been ones to be defeated; instead, the pair of brazen songwriters come back stronger.

“Love & Light,” their 16-song take on what a woman should know over what people tell them, is a festival of freedom, fun, reality, what it takes to chase dreams, and how powerful acceptance can be. Even more than the acoustic-forward — chiming acoustic guitars, well-deployed dobro, banjo and resonator guitar, as well as pools of steel guitar and mandolin shine — it’s the pair’s sleek harmonies and sharp writing that define what will most likely be called the Country Music Association Award winners’ “coming of age record.”

Jannus Live

From her early days in fourth grade writing songs, she has evolved into a dynamic force within the electronic music scene, blending melodic dubstep with modern pop-dubstep. Her approach mirrors the depth and intensity of rock music, drawing parallels between dubstep and the genre’s raw emotional pull.

Her musical epiphany came during a transformative live performance where she experienced the powerful integration of organic instrumentation with psychedelic bass and electronic elements. This moment profoundly influenced her artistic direction, echoing through her music which carries the signatures of influences like Flux Pavilion, GRiZ, and Zeds Dead.

Rejecting conventional labels, Alleycvt strives for recognition based on her comprehensive artistry. She is also a passionate environmental advocate, committing to donate a portion of her ticket sales to various charities. Her approach extends beyond music to embrace a broader mission of making a tangible impact on the world.

Her art and brand aesthetic are as vibrant and complex as life itself, featuring a mix of cyberpunk and Deadhead styles that create a trippy, psychedelic experience. Her upcoming debut EP, will be a deep dive into her five-year journey in the music industry, capturing the highs and lows, the heartbreaks and triumphs, and the personal growth that comes from navigating such intense experiences.
