Casino equipment supplier Aristocrat Gaming has announced the launch of the “Lightning 10 Year Storm” game, described as an evolution of the brand’s celebrated “Lightning Link” title, launched 10 years ago.
The new game had its debut at the WinStar World Casino and Resort, an American tribal venue in Oklahoma, in the United States, said the gaming supplier in a Thursday press release.
“Distribution of Lightning 10 Year Storm will continue across the United States,” Aristocrat Gaming said.
The announcement cited Craig Toner, chief executive of Aristocrat Gaming, as saying the company was “thrilled to launch Lightning 10 Year Storm at WinStar World Casino and Resort”.
He added: “Building on the incredible global legacy of Lightning Link, we believe Lightning 10 Year Storm is poised to be a new player favourite, proving that lightning really can strike twice.”
Lightning 10 Year Storm (pictured) is said to build “on the popularity” of Lightning Link, featuring “new titles, artwork, and gameplay”.
The game appears exclusively on Aristocrat’s “Baron Portrait” cabinet and debuted with four base games: “Shang Jin Warrior”, “Master Magician”, “Wild Cougar”, and “Golden Archers”.
Aristocrat Gaming said the new title “preserves the iconic elements of the original” one, while “introducing an enhanced base‑game experience and new bonus features”.
Jack Parkinson, president of WinStar World Casino and Resort, said in prepared remarks that the property was “known for having the latest and greatest collection of electronic games”.
“Adding this new evolution of Lightning 10 Year Storm gives our guests another chance to win big playing a game that’s sure to become another instant classic,” Mr Parkinson stated.
Melissa Cox, vice president of marketing and customer relations at Gaming Capital Group LLC, was also quoted in the update as saying: “We are incredibly proud to partner with WinStar World Casino and Resort and Aristocrat Gaming to bring Lightning 10 Year Storm to the floor as a world premiere.”
Oklahoma-based Gaming Capital Group is a provider of specialised financial services and equipment financing to the casino and gaming industry, according to its corporate website.
“Moments like this highlight what’s possible when strong partnerships, strategic execution, and a shared vision come together to create unforgettable guest experience,” Ms Cox added.
