New Releases on Netflix This Week and Top 10 Movies & Series: February 13th, 2025

Freefire New On Netflix This Week February 13 2026

That’s another week in the books, and it’s been a busy one for new releases, particularly on the licensed side. Below, we’ll walk you through all 42 new releases that dropped this week, a little look at what’s coming this weekend, our top picks for the week, and what’s been trending in the US top 10s.

Before we dive into highlights, some quick housekeeping – lots still to look forward to on Netflix throughout the remainder of February, including the final batch of episodes for Bridgerton (the trailer and new first looks just dropped today). We’re also now tracking the March 2026 arrivals, too

What to Watch on Netflix This Weekend

Free Fire (2016)

Rating: R
Language: English
Genre: Action, Comedy, Crime
Director: Ben Wheatley
Cast: Sharlto Copley, Brie Larson, Armie Hammer
Writer: Amy Jump, Ben Wheatley
Runtime: 91 min / 1h 31m

I remember covering this underrated A24 gem when it first hit Netflix, and I was tempted not to highlight it again, but then I realized the last time it appeared on Netflix was six years ago: Time and tide wait for no man! So, if you weren’t a Netflix subscriber back then or need a refresher, here’s another whole-hearted recommendation.

Featuring an incredible ensemble, the stylish, slick thriller follows what happens when an arms transaction in the late 1970s goes disastrously wrong, turning into a massive survival game with an ensuing shootout. Cannot recommend it enough, it’s Brie Larson’s best role in her career in my opinion and Cillian Murphy, predictably, is as good as ever.

Suburgatory (Seasons 1-3)

Number of episodes: 57
Rating: TV-PG
Language: English
Genre: Comedy
Cast: Jeremy Sisto, Jane Levy, Carly Chaikin
Writer: Emily Kapnek
Runtime: 22 min

Continuing Netflix’s trend of licensing from the Warner Bros. Television vault (although a recent addition in this case), we see all three seasons of Suburgatory land on Netflix for the first time. Airing on ABC, the show was criminally canceled after a shortened third season in 2014, and followed Tessa Altman, who is used to the big city, but when her dad moves her away, she has to adapt to her new suburban life in Chatswin.

It’s a heartwarming show that gained a pretty substantial fanbase throughout its run, but clearly not enough to sustain it through more seasons. A tragedy, and fingers crossed it finds a new, larger audience via Netflix.

The Museum of Innocence (Limited Series)

Number of episodes: 9
Rating: TV-MA
Language: Turkish
Genre: Drama
Director: Zeynep Günay

Every year, Netflix drops one or two prestige series from around the world that warrant a behind-the-scenes making-of documentary. They are rare, but given that full treatment this week is the Turkish series The Museum of Innocence, which has also been getting plenty of press coverage in English-speaking countries, a rarity for Netflix projects, with marketing teams often preferring to keep the emphasis in its home territory.

Based on the Nobel Prize-winning novel by Orhan Pamuk, this lush period drama is set in 1975 Istanbul and traces the obsessive, decades-spanning romance between Kemal, a wealthy heir, and Füsun, his distant, poorer relation. What starts as an illicit affair on the eve of Kemal’s engagement to another woman dissolves into a lifetime of longing, leading him to compulsively collect the everyday objects Füsun has touched—from earrings to cigarette butts—to preserve the memory of their time together. Director Zeynep Günay visualizes this “museum” of grief and desire with high-gloss production values, using the central fixation to explore the clash between traditional and modern values in Turkish society.

The Investigation Of Lucy Letby KeyartThe Investigation Of Lucy Letby Keyart

An interesting week in the US movie top 10s, with the British documentary on Lucy Letby quietly building momentum throughout the week. The harrowing story, which, by all accounts, is still not fully resolved, earned the most points and will likely continue to do so as the conversation and discovery of the horrific case expand their reach. Elsewhere, you can really tell that Netflix hasn’t released an Original movie in nearly a month (yes, The Rip was the last Netflix Original title) with licensed titles rounding out the list with the exception of KPop Demon Hunters

  1. The Investigation of Lucy Letby (74 points)
  2. Overboard (2018) (56 points)
  3. Homefront (56 points)
  4. Night at the Museum (37 points)
  5. Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (36 points)
  6. How to Train Your Dragon (30 points)
  7. Flipped (30 points)
  8. Terry McMillan Presents: Forever (29 points)

  10. Independence Day (18 points)
  11. KPop Demon Hunters (16 points)

  17. How to Train Your Dragon 2 (1 point)

Mickey Haller is back on top. Season 4, as I covered last week, is the show’s best to date without a doubt, and clearly enough agreed with the series managing to unseat Bridgerton from the US top 10 TV charts.

  2. Bridgerton (65 points)
  3. Unfamiliar (51 points)
  4. HIS & HERS (44 points)
  5. Is It Cake? Valentines (42 points)
  6. Katt Williams: The Last Report (30 points)
  7. Alone (30 points)
  8. Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich (28 points)
