A new music video from rising country star Parker McCollum features a pair of North Texas spots — and a familiar face.
The video, which dropped on YouTube this week, is for the Texas singer’s love song “Killin’ Me,” off his 2025 self-titled album.
It starts with McCollum pulling up to the Hotel Drover in the Fort Worth Stockyards in a GMC truck with a license plate from Tom Clark Auto Park, a Denton dealership. McCollum later performs inside Billy Bob’s Texas, whose sign is displayed behind him, and dances with his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum.
Texas Rangers fans may recognize the man who appears at the 2:23 mark in the video: third baseman Josh Jung.
McCollum, 33, grew up in Conroe, near Houston. He has won two Academy of Country Music Awards and is known for hits such as “Young Man’s Blues,” “Pretty Heart” and “Handle On You.”
The video is far from the first time McCollum has performed at Billy Bob’s. He made his debut there in 2015 and has returned for several shows over the years. He is scheduled to perform there on March 8 during the Texas Independence Jam. A deluxe edition of Parker McCollum, the album that includes “Killin’ Me,” is set to come out a few weeks later, on March 20. He is currently on tour, promoting that album.
