The league’s best shooters are set to compete in the 2026 3-point Contest on Saturday night in Los Angeles. The competition features Damian Lillard going for a third title despite the fact that he hasn’t played in a game this season with an Achilles injury. There will be eight players fighting for the 3-point crown. The 3-Point Contest at the Inuit Dome, is the first event of All-Star Saturday, with the overall festivities set to begin at 5 p.m. ET.
Lillard, who is now back on the Trail Blazers’ roster this year, is the second favorite at +400, behind only Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel at +240. Jamal Murray (+650), Devin Booker (+650), Tyrese Maxey (+700), Donovan Mitchell (+750) and Norman Powell (+950) are all close behind on a tight odds board, with Bobby Portis serving as the biggest longshot at +1400 among the 3-Point Contest participants.

2026 NBA 3-Point Contest predictions
One surprise: Hartstein isn’t backing either of the top-two favorites — Lillard or Knueppel. Lillard is a two-time champion, but Hartstein has a tough time envisioning him being back in rhythm enough after not playing all season.
As for Knueppel, a rookie has never won the 3-Point Contest. Knueppel has a solid 42.8 3-point percentage this season, but that’s not the best in the field, and not even the best among all NBA rookies, trailing Cam Spencer of the Grizzlies.
In what Hartstein considers a wide-open field where any of the participants can win, he’s searching for value at longer odds than those two favorites. See who to pick here.
