Shop 3 Editor-Approved Express Looks from Fashion Week

If you’ve ever wondered what fashion week is like for us editors, here’s some inside baseball. When our team isn’t running around to shows while publishing a slate of stories, we are meeting with brands, trying new collections, and posing for those talented street-style photographers. Fun? Absolutely. Chaotic? 100%. So when we have the chance to enter a quiet room surrounded by beautiful clothing and even better company and take a breath for just a moment, we bask in it. That’s exactly what happened when we stopped by Express’s fashion week styling suite. Upon arrival, we were met with vibrant hues of pink and green, alongside polka dots and floral prints that felt familiar for spring. The brand’s latest collection includes versatile wardrobe staples like trench coats and tailored trousers, plus more on-trend items like puff-sleeve dresses and cinch-waist blazers. My colleagues Anneliese Henderson, Bobby Shuessler, and Nikki Chwatt gave their favorite looks a test run, and I’ve shopped them out for you below.

“I was so excited about all of the Express pieces in the styling suite, but what spoke to my personal style most were the classic tailored trousers, the cropped blazer, and the polka-dot top. I should mention that this print trend is not slowing down anytime soon! I’ve seen so many people incorporate it into their looks this fashion week, whether it’s on a bag, shoes, or even just a headband.” — Anneliese Henderson, senior fashion editor, branded content

Bobby Schuessler Fashion Week Street Style

“Laid-back and polished is how I’d describe this Express look. Jeans teamed with a striped shirt and tie is very 2026—sleek yet easy. The addition of the trench coat brings another tailored element to the ensemble. Side note: The trench is in the most delicious chocolate-brown hue.” — Bobby Schuessler, market director

“The Belted Wrap Trench Coat caught my attention the minute I entered the styling suite. In winter, I’m a huge fan of a long, elevated coat because it essentially becomes the whole outfit. To create a complementary base, I chose classic black wide-leg trousers. Although the look was complete, I was inspired by the vibrant spring collection around me and decided at the last minute to add some color. While drawn to reds and pinks, I ultimately selected Express’s Editor Studio Stretch Twill Fitted Two-Button Blazer in Antique Moss, a shade very similar to chartreuse. Color is a huge trend after the spring 2026 runways, and everywhere I look during fashion week, I see people embracing vibrant outfits. My personal style leans more minimal, so my look taps into this trend in a more subdued way.” — Nikki Chwatt, associate fashion editor
