Ryzen 7 7700 processor
This CPU is a good all-rounder for gaming and productivity. It features 8 cores and 16 threads, making it adept at handling heavy multitasking and content creation workflows, and its high 5.3GHz boost clock and 32MB L3 cache make it a good choice for 1440p and 4K gaming, and therefore the RX 9070 XT, too. Something like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D would be preferable, but opting for a build with this CPU in it does help keep overall costs down, without sacrificing too much when it comes to performance.
Storage and RAM
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM here, which is going to be great for gaming, especially if you’re playing open-world titles at high settings and high resolutions, or simulators. It’s also going to make everything feel more responsive and snappy, and that includes workflows using popular, but RAM-intensive, creative applications, too. You can generally find these prebuilds for around $2,000, but they can dip below if you hunt around in the sales, or opt for a non-X3D processor and go for something from Intel instead, which are generally more affordable.
