The heroes of the hardwood will come together for the NBA All-Star Game this weekend. It’s the climax of a weekend full of activities showcasing the league and its biggest stars. This year marks the 75th All-Star Game in league history and features a twist on the marquee event.

The game will be broadcast live, beginning at 5 p.m. ET on NBC. It will also be streamed on Peacock. (Peacock and TODAY.com share a parent company, NBCUniversal.)
Where Is the NBA All-Star Game?
The game will take place at the Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles Clippers. While it marks the first time the arena will host the event, it’s the seventh time the NBA All-Star Game will be played in the City of Angels, with the last one occurring in 2018.
What Is the Format of the NBA All-Star Game?
The league has tinkered with the game in recent years and this one is no different, with multiple games on the docket leading up to a championship.
This year will feature a three-team, round-robin tournament with a series of 12-minute games. Two teams will be composed of players from the United States and one made up of international players. One team will be called USA Stars, another will be the USA Stripes and the third will be Team World.
