The Music Festival Wizard team will be keeping tabs on which festivals have been cancelled and whenever possible, we will add the official statement from the organizers. Statements From Organizers
Earth Beat Aotearoa 2026
Tapora, New Zealand
The caterpillar has slowly made its way to the cocoon. As you probably guessed, 2026 will not see an edition of Earth Beat. From the still quiet unknown of the cocoon, beauty is sure to flutter its wings once more. We don’t know when and we don’t know how, but we all feel in our hearts why these gatherings are essential to our survival as sovereign human beings on earth.
Punk Rock Bowling 2026
Las Vegas, NV
Life threw some unexpected challenges our way over these past several months and we are living in difficult times. Sadly, it has become clear that their will not be a PRB 2026.
This was an incredibly tough reality for all of us to face. PRB isn’t just a festival, it’s a family reunion. It truly breaks our hearts not to be there for you in 2026.
Live at Leeds in the Park 2026
Leeds, UK
Live at Leeds ‘In the Park’ and ‘In the City’ will be taking a break in 2026.
Both festivals are organised by a small, passionate team of music lovers, who have been proud to deliver amazing festivals, every year for the last 18 years. However, we have decided that we need to pause for a year to allow us to move forward with the best possible version of the festival for the future.
Live At Leeds In The City 2026
4 Peaks Music Festival 2026
Bend, OR
We regret to announce that Central Oregon’s beloved, longest-running multi-day camping music festival will not take place in 2026. Our passion for live music and this incredible community remains as strong as ever, and we share in the disappointment of this news. However, our hopes and dreams are very much alive, and we look forward to dancing under the Central Oregon sky with you again in the future.
Mountain Jam 2026
Highmount, NY
Mountain Jam 2025 was truly special — thank you to everyone who came out and made it unforgettable.
After much thought, Mountain Jam will take 2026 off and we hope to return in 2027!
Levitation France 2026
Angers, France
Unfortunately, the festival site, and in particular the Lac de Maine Pyramid, are currently undergoing major construction work, making a new installation temporarily impossible. For this reason, Levitation France will take a break in 2026.
Fairwell Festival 2026
Redmond, OR
FairWell Festival will not be returning in 2026. We’re incredibly grateful for the memories, the community, and everyone who made these past three years at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds so special!
SunSka Festival 2026
Vertheuil, France
Today, the conditions to offer a SunSka 2026 that meets our ambitions and the expectations of our audience are not in place.
This is not a goodbye but rather a “see you soon”, because this year of work ahead of us will allow us to return stronger and more motivated than ever in 2027, to celebrate the festival’s 30th anniversary with you.
Watershed Festival 2026
George, WA
After 13 incredible years of Country Music and Community at The Gorge, we wanted to be the first to let you know that Watershed will be taking a hiatus in 2026. Any future plans will be announced accordingly. #SheddersForLife
Mysteryland 2026
Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands
Mysteryland will take a break in 2026. Because even the greatest journeys need a moment to reset, reflect and evolve.
We’re not saying goodbye. We’re creating the next chapter for our return in 2027. As the world’s longest-standing dance festival, we feel a strong responsibility to deliver to our fans: unexpected discoveries across stages and décor, innovative shows and top-tier artists. All set on one of the most beautiful festival grounds of the Netherlands.
Thing Festival 2026
Carnation, WA
Today we’re sharing that Seattle Theatre Group (STG) has made the decision to pause THING Festival in 2026. We intend for it to return in the future and will use this time to recalibrate its vision. We want to take time to do THING right and ensure it’s the best it can be.
STG has enthusiastically taken on two new endeavors in the last year—we now operate The 5th Avenue Theatre and are the owner of Kerry Hall—and we need time to invest in these spaces.
Evolution Festival 2026
St. Louis, MO
Today we announce that Evolution Festival will be placed on pause due to the number of major events already scheduled across our region in 2026 — our nation’s 250 birthday, World Cup, and Olympics
SXSW Sydney 2026
Sydney, Australia
Every great story has a final page, and it is with a heavy heart that we share that SXSW Sydney has reached its closing chapter and will not be returning in 2026.
Hardwick Festival 2026
Stockton-on-Tees, UK
After an incredible 12 years, it’s time to press pause, just for now.
We’re taking some time to reflect, regroup and reimagine the future of Hardwick Festival after a tough couple of years of rising costs.
Thank you to you all, we hope to see you soon.
Bender Jamboree 2026
Las Vegas, NV
The current economic instability in the United States is having a devastating impact on the music industry. As a seasoned concert-goer, you’ve no doubt seen plenty of festival and tour cancellations all year long.
We are not keen to launch a 2026 installment of the Jamboree in this environment. Our goal is to take the ensuing year to evaluate the landscape and determine the best way forward to bring back the Jamboree in 2027!
Sunshine Get Down 2026
Brooksville, FL
In less than three years we hosted five incredible festivals, each one getting better than the last. But we’ve decided to take a break in 2026 and come back with the Get Down in spring 2027, with the addition of music on Sunday too. This hiatus will help us build the perfect lineup and give us lots of time to plan a really special weekend.
Dreamstate Europe 2026
Gliwice, Poland
TME Entertainment regrets to inform that this year’s edition of Dreamstate Europe has been cancelled. The decision results from organizational circumstances beyond the control of TME Entertainment and Insomniac, and lies with the venue where the event was scheduled to take place.
Lollapalooza Paris 2026
Paris, France
Due to various factors inherent in the organization of a festival of this magnitude — which cannot be brought together to meet our ambitions for 2026, and because we like to challenge ourselves and constantly reinvent this unique event, we have decided to give ourselves an extra year before meeting you again.
Keep It Country London 2026
London, UK
After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision that Keep It Country Festival will not be going ahead in 2026.
Over the past few years the country music scene has grown rapidly, with more events and festivals than ever before. While that’s amazing to see, it’s also made the landscape increasingly crowded. Rather than compromise on the scale and experience that Keep It Country is known for, we feel it’s the right time to pause and reassess.
