Fort Dale students earn top science honors

Three students from Fort Dale Academy earned first-place finishes at the Alabama AISA State Science Expo, a statewide academic competition recognizing excellence in scientific research and innovation. The event was held at Eastwood Christian School in Montgomery and featured students from private schools across Alabama.

“Fort Dale Academy students demonstrated exceptional dedication, curiosity and perseverance as they researched, tested and refined their projects,” said science teacher Marcia Paulk. “We are incredibly proud of their hard work and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments with our community.”

The Alabama AISA State Science Expo advances students from district-level competitions to the state level, where projects are judged in categories including Innovation and Invention, Reverse Engineering, Science Fiction and Scientific Inquiry. Entries are evaluated based on scientific method, data analysis, creativity, presentation quality and student interviews.
