Nagoya –
The market for Vocaloid and competing voice synthesizer software is already huge in Japan and overseas. But a new app, VoiSona, is aiming to stand out by offering an easy-to-use, affordable service that focuses on the otaku bedroom composers who want to make their geekiest dreams come true.
On YouTube, a VoiSona user posted a video of virtual singer Ui Shigure covering “Niginigi Nijitown,” a song by Nijisanji, a popular virtual YouTube group. The video showing Shigure dancing to a fast-paced beat got tens of thousands of views.
Another video showed virtual singer LeuR covering a song from the video game “Doki Doki Literature Club!” with a tinkling piano.
