Hudson Westbrook and Stormie Goldsmith are no more.
Taste of Country was the first to report that the duo made the news official, after weeks of fan speculation, in the comments of a TikTok video which questioned whether or not they were still dating.
“Before y’all get to guessing … Stormie’s a great girl,” the 21-year-old country music singer wrote. “It just didn’t work out. I hope nothing but the world for her.”
And, to the young former couple’s credit, they both appear to be handling it maturely because Goldsmith chimed in, too.
“Well said, Hud,” she wrote. “Don’t make it into something it isn’t! Life goes on, and we love ya always.”
Taste of Country said that the Westbrook and Goldsmith first started talking in May 2025 after he “slid into Goldsmith’s DMs.” Their relationship apparently took off from there with Goldsmith even appearing in the video for Westbrook’s song, “Texas Forever.” That album, which was released on July 25, 2025, had a Top 10 debut on Billboard’s Country Albums chart which is impressive considering Westbrook only started playing the guitar in 2020.
So, the native of Stephensville, Texas, is off to a hot start to his career.
For folks who were fans of the two as a couple, the good news is that Goldsmith is 21, too, so they are both young … and you never know how things work out in life.
But, even if this is truly it forever, again the two seem to be handling it incredibly well.
