We had drama from the very beginning until the very end of the league phase in both the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League and now the action moves into the knockout stages, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.

We begin with the play-offs, which sees all the teams ranked between ninth and 24th in the league phases of both the Europa League and Conference League battle it out for spots in the last 16.

Celtic are also in play-off action, after their 4-2 win over Utrecht secured 21st spot and a play-off berth.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are in the Conference League play-offs, with a 2-2 draw against Finnish side KuPS costing them a top-eight spot and an automatic run to the last 16.
That leaves three British teams in action in the Europa League and Conference League play-offs, after Rangers missed out on qualification.

There is likely to be significant tension with so much at stake – so expect plenty of drama.

Who is playing in the Europa League and Conference League play-off round?

Nottingham Forest face a mammoth test against Turkish side Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa League play-offs.

As the seeded team, Forest will travel to Istanbul first, before welcoming Fenerbahce – who are unbeaten in the Turkish top division and sit in second place – to the City Ground.

Celtic are the unseeded team for their clash with Stuttgart, meaning they will have home advantage for the first leg, before travelling to Germany in the second leg.

Ligue 1 side Lille face Red Star Belgrade, while Genk, who finished ninth in the league phase, travel to Dinamo Zagreb and Brann, who finished 24th, host Serie A outfit Bologna.

In the Conference League, Crystal Palace, having finished 10th, will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina first up, where they will play Zrinjski, before welcoming them back for the second leg at Selhurst Park.
