Here are a lot of freebies and big discounts on things that you can do with the family while the kids are off for Winter Break from school.
There are a lot of things from Williamsville, New York to Niagara Falls, New York and in between that are free (or super cheap) for the family to do during the break and this is a great week to take advantage of them.
1.) Movies – $6.99
Movies are only $6.99 today. Regal theaters offer 6.99 movie passes for all of the movies on Tuesdays. The only catch is that you have to be a Regal member, but that is also free. Flix also does a discount on Tuesdays for families. The price is 10 dollars per ticket and all of the popcorn on Tuesdays are half off.
2.) Ice Skating – FREE
Skating is FREE only this week at both Canalside and at Buffalo Riverworks. Canalside ice skating is free from 10 until 12. In addition, they have curling discounted from 15 bucks down to 10 dollars and that requires a reservation.
At Riverworks, ice skating is free from 11 to 5 and roller skating is free from 2 to 9.
3.) Aquarium – 70% off
The Aquarium of Niagara all week long is offering a discount while families are looking for something to do for break. The admission tickets are VERY discounted to $7.16–that is 70% off adult admissions.
4.) Buffalo Zoo is free
The Buffalo Zoo is free every 3rd Thursday of the month thanks to M&T, but the catch is you have to claim a ticket before the zoo sells out.
