Lunar New Year means new research opportunities including Field Research, paid Timed Research, and a Collection Challenge. Trainers who complete Field Research tasks can earn Stardust and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Complete the event-themed Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and an encounter with event-themed Pokémon.
Paid Timed Research is available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Completing paid Timed Research awards include 200 PokéCoins, two Lucky Eggs, one Incense, and encounters with Blitzle and Darumaka. Research must be completed and rewards claimed by February 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
