Scottsdale Fashion Square is under new leadership with the appointment of Jaymes Bell as general manager.
As general manager, Mr. Bell oversees property management for the shopping center, including operations, marketing, administration, housekeeping, maintenance and security, according to a press release.
Among Mr. Bell’s early responsibilities is managing the Palm Court enhancement project, which began construction earlier this month and is scheduled for completion ahead of the 2026 holiday season. The Palm Court serves as a gathering space featuring community events, fashion shows and dining options.
“Scottsdale Fashion Square has established itself as one of the nation’s premier shopping centers, offering an amazing blend of retailers and experiences,” Mr. Bell said. “I’m honored to join this remarkable team and to help guide the center as it continues to thrive and evolve. My focus will be on strengthening relationships, both within the center and throughout our community, while helping shape the future of luxury shopping in the Southwest.”
Before joining Scottsdale Fashion Square, Mr. Bell worked with Brookfield Properties, where he managed major retail properties including Ala Moana Center in Honolulu and Fashion Show in Las Vegas.
Mr. Bell previously served seven years on active duty as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, completing two deployments to Afghanistan. He continues to serve as a major in the Army Reserve, instructing for the Command and General Staff College.
Originally from Louisiana, Mr. Bell graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas Lee Business School. Mr. Bell and his wife, Hillary, live in Scottsdale with their three daughters.
