Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, director of the National Institutes of Health, joined Christopher Yeomans, the Justin S. Morrill Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue, for a fireside chat on Wednesday (Feb. 18), discussing the role that freedom plays in advancing science and innovation. The conversation was offered in conjunction with Purdue’s America250 celebration.

Titled “The Science of Liberty: How Liberalism Arose From Science and Sparks Prosperity,” the event is at 6 p.m. Feb. 26 in Fowler Hall and is being presented in conjunction with Purdue’s America250 celebration.
