Empiria Group will open Eréma, a new luxury all-suite hotel on the Greek island of Milos, on June 15, 2026, marking the company’s first property on the island and its continued expansion across the Cyclades.
The resort will feature 41 suites, each with a private pool and panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, and will be located on Milos’ southeastern coast near Provatas Beach. Designed as a low-impact retreat shaped by the island’s volcanic landscape, the hotel is also targeting LEED Gold environmental certification.
The opening strengthens Empiria Group’s presence in the Cyclades, where it already operates high-end properties in Santorini and Paros. With nightly rates ranging from €700 to €1,300 depending on suite category and travel dates, Eréma positions Milos as a new destination for luxury travelers seeking quieter alternatives to the region’s more established islands.
“In a world that feels increasingly fast and uncertain, people are seeking places that allow them to recalibrate,” said Kalia Konstantinidou, Co-founder of Empiria Group. “Milos offers something deeply restorative. Its minerals, its light, and its geological layers create a sense of grounding that feels especially relevant today. Eréma was shaped as a place of pause, and as a natural counterpart to the livelier energy of Paros or the iconic and cinematic Santorini.”
Private pool suites shaped by Milos’ volcanic landscape
Set directly into the natural terrain, Eréma has been designed by Athens-based studio ID Laboratorium with architecture and interiors that draw from Milos’ mineral-rich environment. Stone, marble, and muted earth tones dominate the aesthetic, while large openings blur the line between indoor spaces and the sea horizon.
The resort’s 41 suites are spread across four categories, all designed to emphasize outdoor living. Element Suites offer one-bedroom layouts with terraces and private pools, while Drift Suites add separate living spaces and larger outdoor areas. Horizon Suites are the largest option, combining expansive interiors with direct access to private pool terraces overlooking the sea. Unity Suites provide two-bedroom configurations aimed at families and longer stays.
Sustainability, dining and wellness at the core of the resort
Eréma has been designed to meet LEED Gold standards, integrating energy-efficient systems, responsible material sourcing, native landscaping, and water conservation strategies across the property. Developers say the approach aims to minimize environmental impact while reflecting traditional Cycladic living.
The hotel will include two restaurants overseen by Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou, whose menus will focus on local ingredients and modern interpretations of regional cuisine. The resort will also feature the Elios spa, offering mineral-inspired treatments, alongside gym facilities and open-air communal spaces designed to encourage informal social interaction rather than scheduled programming.
A boutique operated by Athens-based design brand Anthologist will occupy part of the hotel, offering locally inspired textiles, objects, and crafts intended to reflect the material culture of the Cyclades.
Located 7 kilometers from Milos Airport and 11 kilometers from Adamas Port, the resort combines relative seclusion with convenient access for travelers arriving by air or ferry. Empiria Group says the Milos opening represents a strategic counterbalance to the busier atmospheres of Santorini and Paros, positioning the island as a slower-paced luxury destination focused on landscape, privacy, and sustainability.
