On Saturday night, the San Antonio Spurs will end their short stay in Austin.
The Spurs are set to host Sacramento in a game that will be played at Moody Center on the University of Texas campus. Two days ago, San Antonio recorded a 121-94 win over Phoenix in the same arena.
This is the fourth straight season that San Antonio has shifted two of its home games to Austin. San Antonio is 4-3 in its “I-35 Series” games.
Saturday’s showdown features two teams on the opposite ends of the Western Conference standings. With a 39-16 record, San Antonio trails just Oklahoma City in the race to be the Western Conference’s top seed. No team in the NBA has a worse record than Sacramento, which is 12-45.
