Josh is a senior associate in the corporate practice. He advises financial institutions, project sponsors and developers on a variety of United States and cross-border project finance and development transactions, with an emphasis on renewable and clean energy technologies.
Prior to joining Akin, Josh was a senior associate in the energy and infrastructure group at another leading global law firm in New York. He also served as an associate at a New York-based firm and served as the law clerk to the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C. (Ret.), in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris Vicinage. Josh’s experience includes legal internships at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Josh received his J.D., magna cum laude, with a Certificate in Environmental Law from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he served as Articles Editor for the Pace Environmental Law Review. He holds a B.A., summa cum laude, with a double major in environmental studies and economics from Bucknell University.
