Dragon statue or bust.

When it comes to selecting a pre-order version, choosing bundles can be a difficult choice. That is especially true of the Crimson Desert Collector’s Edition, which comes with some incredible goodies, but at a rough price.

Crimson Desert will be released on February 12, 2026, after a long wait. What started as a prologue to Black Desert has expanded into its own work, a single-player experience. The ARPG game boasts a vast open world, challenging gameplay, and deep exploration and combat.

Now, players are juggling which version to pre-order or grab on launch day, with the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions all offering extras alongside the main game.

While many fans will end up going with Standard or Deluxe, many are taking to social media to explain why this Collector’s Edition is worth investing in.

Crimson Desert Collector’s Edition Offers Impressive Extras

In a social media post shared by Zephryss, the Crimson Desert fan shows a video clip of a display case filled with Crimson Desert items from the Collector’s Edition.

In the video, the swag from the Collector’s Edition fills a case several feet long. The loot includes the PlayStation 5 physical copy of the game, a limited edition Steelbook, a map of Pywel, a developer letter, a Greymane Brooch pin, three character photo cards, three patches, and a stunning statue of Dragon fighting the main character. The set also includes DLC bonuses for the Ultimate Pack that can be used in-game.

Fans in the comments who already purchased the $280 set say it is worth it just for the dragon statue. Similar statues from games like Dibalo VI can go for $400 or more.

However, some Crimson Desert fans have pointed out that the lack of game copy choice is a problem, with the Collector’s Edition only available for the PlayStation 5 version of the game. Despite this, many are saying the sheer amount of extras that come in the Crimson Desert collector’s edition is more than worth the price.
