Actresses Glenn Close and Helen Mirren had the sweetest exchange with a fashion designer during London Fashion Week, and we’re just happy it was captured on video.
Over the weekend, the two iconic actresses were at the Erdem show and were seen in footage captured by CNN Style congratulating designer, Erdem Moralıoğlu.
“Congratulations, it was fabulous, we’re fighting over the same piece,” Mirren said to Moralıoğlu.
“We’re fighting over the same outfit,” Close repeated, to which the designer replied, “You can both have it… or I can make it big enough to encompass both of you!”

Fans, who enjoyed the exchange, just couldn’t get over their combined star power in one place.
“Can you imagine BOTH these ladies waiting to congratulate you after a show,” one fan wrote of the stars, who were both wearing ensembles by the designer.
“Seeing both of those 2 women together ICONIC,” another added. “I would literally bow down and ask for a blessing.”
“And I love it that they [are] friendly!!!” a third said.
“Imagine standing in front of not one but two goddessses – what a treat!” said another.

Other fans specifically called out Close’s particularly approachable nature.
“I love Helen Mirren, but Glenn is such a sweetheart, so down to earth, one of us, really,” one fan said.
“@glennclose is such a mom!” another added. “She and Dame Helen are just amazing.”
Commenters were also happy to see the stars support Erdem, which was celebrating it’s 20th anniversary.
“So heartwarming, especially seeing such support for independent designer,” while another added, “this is everything!”
Also at the show, which took place at London’s Tate Britain museum, was Keira Knightley and Lily James.

After the show, Close headed to the BAFTA awards, where sported another Erdem look from the brand’s Resort 2026 collection, according to Harper’s Bazaar.
The ‘Fatal Attraction’ star presented the award for Best Film, which went to ‘One Battle After Another.’
