This stylish and unique Skytech Prism 4 gaming PC is now down $300 at Newegg, and has been reduced from $3099.99 to $2,799.99; a very competitive price considering what you’re getting. You’ve got the powerful RTX 5080 here, which is paired with one of the top gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. This is an excellent combo for 4K gaming with raytracing and very high fps 1440p, plus, it’s also good for demanding multitasking, too. In terms of DDR5, you’ve got 32GB here, which is great for open-world games and keeping everything feeling snappy and responsive. Add all this to a powerful AIO cooling system, eye-catching PC case, aRGB lighting, and 1TB SSD, and you’ve got a real winner for the price in our opinion.

Key features of this Skytech Prism 4 Gaming PC

RTX 5080 graphics card

The RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards on the market if you’re looking for excellent 4K and ray tracing performance without the price tag of an RTX 5090. It’s built on Nvidia’s Blackwell Architecture, which means you’re getting a wide range of generational improvements, ranging from faster GDDR7 memory, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores. You’ve also got new features like multi-frame generation, which can be used to boost perceived fps. For creatives, this card’s 16GB of VRAM, coupled with 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders and tools like Nvidia Broadcast make it ideal, especially for those working in 4K video editing, content creation, or 3D. Storage and RAM

As with most RTX 5080 builds, this has 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which has a host of benefits. For creatives, this is going to help keep everything running smoothly when you’re running demanding applications, and for gaming, it’s going to allow for super smooth gameplay with open-world or simulator titles, and enough headroom for future modern AAA releases. For storage, curiously, you’ve got a 1TB SSD, which is actually quite rare to see in an RTX 5080 build. This is enough for a decent handful of games, but may run out quickly if you’re also saving large, creative files, like 4K footage, to it as well. For most, it’s fine, and it helps keep overall costs down, which is a win.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is pretty much the top gaming CPU for most people right now, even while there are more expensive, powerful options from the X3D lineup. It improves upon the impressive Ryzen 7 7800X3D with new, more efficient architecture, plus a high 5.2GHz boost clock speed, resulting in better overall performance. As with most of the lineup, you’ve got the impressive 3D V-cache technology, which allows for more data to be stored for quicker access, which helps boost framerates and improve 1% lows. For 1440p and 4K gaming, it’s an excellent choice, and it’s not too shabby for multitasking either, thanks to its 8 cores and 16 threads. Check out our full review here for a deeper dive.

Things to consider

This is a great price, aside from the slightly modest-sized SSD, for an RTX 5080 build of this calibre. You could probably find one with a 2TB SSD for similar, but it won’t have the super unique PC case this one has, and may look a little more basic, but we’ll leave that up to you. I’d say that if you want to save a bit more cash, it’s worth checking out some of the RTX 5080, 7-265K builds, which are often found closer to $2,500, sometimes even a touch lower on occasion. You’ll sacrifice a bit of gaming performance, save some cash, and gain something that’s arguably better for multitasking, content creation, and heavy productivity.
