Canadians in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico were ordered to shelter in place after widespread violence erupted following the killing of Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader ‘El Mencho.’
Authorities said the military operation in Jalisco was followed by roadblocks and burning vehicles, tactics commonly used by cartels to hinder security forces.
