PinkPantheress Pairs Burberry Baby Pumps With Tartan and Trench at LFW

PinkPantheress stuck to Burberry’s classic codes during London Fashion Week on Monday, pairing the house’s black Baby Pumps with a tartan-and-trench look on the Thames for Daniel Lee’s fall 2026 show at Old Billingsgate Market.

The “Illegal” singer’s Burberry Baby Pumps came in smooth, glossy black calf leather with a softly rounded toe, a low-cut scoop vamp and a 85mm heel.

She paired the black pumps with a weather-ready take on Burberry codes, wearing a gray double-breasted trench with epaulets, a storm flap, a self-belted waist and a gathered flounce. A green tartan minidress in a pleated, ruffled finish added a pop of color, peeking out from just underneath the trench. A compact black shoulder bag completed the look.

The appearance followed a similar Burberry shoe moment late last year, when she chose the label’s Leather Sadler Ballerina flats for the unveiling of the Burberry and Claridge’s 2025 Christmas tree in London. That style featured quilted black leather, a rounded toe and allover Equestrian Knight Design embroidery, worn with a trench-inspired minidress and cropped jacket from the brand.

Inside Old Billingsgate, Burberry built a runway that echoed London’s winter streets, with a replica of Tower Bridge and black “puddles” laid out under the models’ feet. In her review of the show for WWD, Samantha Conti described the collection as “an ode to the trench, and to the beauty of London’s dark and cold winter days,” calling it “functional and ferociously focused” as it moved through elongated knits, leather trenches and cloth coats with military details.

PinkPantheress was far from the only celebrity sitting in the front row. Kate Moss, Jodie Turner-Smith, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Marisa Abela were also in the audience, among others, each showing off a pair of Burberry shoes for the occasion.
