Fashion, Wellness, Cuisine and Art

Milan continues to welcome an array of new destinations that blend fashion, wellness and gastronomy. From Noï fusion of Pilates and Japanese tea rituals on Via Pontida to the exotic flavors of Sushisamba at Torre Velasca, the city offers something for every taste. Meanwhile, Roberto Cavalli’s boutique and Alice + Olivia’s first Milan store enrich the fashion scene.

Here, a list of the new openings.

Noï

Noï, a new wellness destination, combines Pilates and tea. The space located in Via Pontida, 2 spans 1,512 square feet and was founded by Iryna Kovalchuk and Lucy Podoprygora. “In Milan, everything moves fast, but wellness comes from slowing down,” Kovalchuk explained. The studio features a reformer Pilates space and a tea room with natural materials and neutral tones, designed by Milan-based designed studio AIM.

The tea selection includes Japanese teas such as genmaicha, with its nutty, popcorn-like flavor, and hojicha, a toasted green tea with hints of hazelnut and caramel. Artisanal Japanese-inspired treats accompany the tea, such as matcha and hojicha cheesecake and brownies, and traditional dorayaki cakes with anko, the sweet azuki bean paste, and matcha ganache. Matcha, hojicha and genmaicha ice cream and savory onigiri complete the experience.

“Wellness is a daily design project,” said Podoprygora. “It’s about how we live our spaces, the time we take, and the choices we make. Noï is our way of translating that into a place,” she continued.

Formula House of Core is a new Pilates studio in Milan’s Corso Monforte, founded by Maria Sofia Rovera. The 1,620-square-foot space offers reformer, barre, mat work, hot, and sculpt Pilates classes, plus tailored experiences like the Plunge Room (a 4-degree Celsius ritual immersion to boost immunity and reduce stress) and therapeutic massages.

The design evokes warmth and tranquility with soft lighting and neutral colors. The studio is the first one in Italy to feature Technogym reformer equipment. “It’s a place where you can find your own formula, a way to experience wellness that goes beyond movement, in a space where you can truly unwind,” stated Rovera.

Carven Pop-up

Carven has landed in Milan with its first pop-up at the luxury multibrand store Antonia, in Via Sant’Andrea. For two weeks fashion enthusiasts can explore the brand’s spring 2026 collections within the store.

Carven invited French artist Juliette Teste, cofounder of ARC studio, to display in the space and she reinterpreted the brand’s aesthetic codes through her sculptural vessels. Her vase-drawings, inspired by ancient frescoes and pop culture, echo the brand’s signature Esperanto line. The spring 2026 collection features whites, blacks, grays and ecru, blending sportswear with sophisticated fabrics like lace, lingerie and silk.

Roberto Cavalli Boutique

Roberto Cavalli has expanded Milan’s luxury retail landscape with a new boutique in Via Santo Spirito 24. The 1,728-square-foot boutique showcases the Roberto Cavalli Atelier haute couture line. The glass entrance door and two side windows open onto the street, while the interior design preserves the typical Milanese architecture, featuring original Venetian Seminato marble flooring and decorative details from the early 20th century.

The bright, neutral palette features warm white walls paired with beige fabric-effect Roberto Cavalli Home wallpaper, champagne gold furnishings, and polished gold accents. A semicircular wall with the house’s logo in polished gold is the focal point. The space offers a selection of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, fragrances, eyewear, and Roberto Cavalli Home Collection designs. On the second floor are featured accessories and footwear.

Sushisamba Milano

Sushisamba debuted on the first floor of Torre Velasca, blending flavors from Brazil, Japan and Peru. The menu features sushi, sashimi, robata specialties, and Nikkei-inspired creations, paired with signature cocktails and live music. Start with shareable plates: edamame, tempura, guacamole, and small plates like Japanese wagyu gyoza. The raw section offers oysters, tiraditos, and Peruvian-inspired ceviche with tuna, sea bass or tofu, paired with Peruvian corn and crunchy quinoa.

The Robata grill showcases the cuisine’s theatrical side with grilled seafood, wagyu cuts, and veggies. Clay pots and chaufa, the fried rice dishes, complete the offer.  At the bar, the “Fruteria do Brasil” reimagines caipirinhas with tropical flavors and mocktails.

‘Over, Under and in Between — Mona Hatoum’ Exhibition

Fondazione Prada presents “Over, under and in between,” a site-specific project conceived by artist Mona Hatoum on display until Nov. 9. The project explores themes of instability, danger and fragility in three installations. In the entrance room, a large-scale web of glass spheres suspended overhead evokes the ambiguity of safety and fear. The web symbolizes entrapment, and connection.

The central room features a world map made of red glass balls, ignoring political borders and using the Gall-Peters rectangular, equal-area map projection to challenge traditional power dynamics in cartography. The third room hosts “all of a quiver,” a towering kinetic installation of stacked cubes oscillating between collapse and re-erection, symbolizing precariousness. The structure’s movement evokes unease and claustrophobia.
