McClure Health Science High School student named Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education Student of the Year
Jasmine Osorio-Antonio of McClure Health Science High School has been named the Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) 2026 Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Student of the Year. The 12th-grade student was recognized at the CTAE award ceremony on February 24, 2026. The event recognizes student achievements in CTAE courses during their high school careers.
This year, 27 students were selected from a field of high-performing GCPS high school students, including Myra Wu of Paul Duke STEM High School, who was named 1st runner-up, and Terri Palmer of Discovery High School, who was named 2nd runner-up.

The selection process required nominated students to submit a resume, a letter of recommendation from the nominating teacher, information on participation in a Career and Technical Student Organization, community service, and an essay. An initial round of interviews with GCPS CTAE staff narrowed the field to six finalists.
