NEW YORK, February 26, 2026–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Star Mountain Capital, LLC (“Star Mountain”), a rapidly growing, employee-owned investment firm with approximately $4.5 billion in assets under management (“AUM”), is pleased to announce that Angela Rodell has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Ms. Rodell will support Star Mountain’s mission by leveraging her institutional investing expertise to educate institutional and high net worth investors on the diversification and return benefits of having exposure to lower middle-market private credit. She will also leverage her public finance leadership experience to enhance Star Mountain’s portfolio companies’ governance and leadership diversity.

Ms. Rodell is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of experience leading public and private institutions through complex financial landscapes, strategic growth initiatives and global investment management. Recognized for innovation in sovereign wealth and public finance, she has consistently fostered collaboration and delivered measurable results in the management of multi-billion-dollar assets.

Ms. Rodell served as Chief Executive Officer of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, where she led a diverse investment team, modernized trade, risk and operating systems and oversaw growth in AUM from $50 billion to $80 billion. Prior to that, she was Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Revenue, responsible for building the state’s financial position and overseeing more than $100 billion combined across retirement and state funds. Ms. Rodell initially joined the Department as Deputy Commissioner in 2011. She began her public finance career in New York as a senior investment banker and financial advisor, managing capital financing plans for U.S. state and state-agency clients.
