Last week it was Alexis Mac Allister to the rescue for Liverpool, scoring a 97th-minute winner against Nottingham Forest, who gave Arne Slot and his side a real headache. It was a huge finish to a match which had been largely without goalmouth action.
As Liverpool strive to keep their Champions League football hopes alive, they currently sit in 6th, with Chelsea in 5th on goal difference. Slot’s side face strugglers West Ham on Saturday, a game Liverpool fans will expect to be an easy three points at Anfield, while also hoping Chelsea slip up away to league leaders Arsenal.
