Pokémon Day is finally here, and it’s got me feeling nostalgic. I got my first Pokémon game when I was eight and since then, I’ve spent a lifetime keeping up with the games, collecting merchandise, and generally just living a Pokémon-filled life. But what if I had to do it all over again?
There are plenty of Pokémon items I could probably live without (I have a Pikachu-shaped ice cube tray I’ve never actually used stashed somewhere in a drawer) but there are also lots of items that I would never want to go without. These are the items I’d build my collection with today if I was starting from scratch.
