LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — For Las Vegas Strip casinos, the new year did not get off on the right foot.
Non-restricted gaming licensees on the Strip posted win revenue of about $747.66 million for January 2026, per new figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
That’s an 11% drop compared to January 2025, when the gaming win was $840.09 million.
Much of Southern Nevada also reported dips. Only Mesquite and North Las Vegas saw year-over-year increases, while Downtown Las Vegas, Laughlin, the Boulder Strip and the rest of the county declined.
Nevada casinos statewide ended January with a win of $1.35 billion, down about 6.6% from the year-ago month.
