When it came to denim, the crowd at London Fashion Week made bold choices. Jeans revealed personal style and a flair for statement washes and constructions.
Attendees stepped out in low-rise flare jeans with hip cutouts, leather coated denim coordinates and balloon-shaped fits with streaky washes. Overdyeing and creasing added texture to other denim pieces, and novelty belt buckles and wallet chains continued to decorate jeans.
Jackets—from trendy Hussar styles to a light wash chore jacket was accented with quilting fabrics—added to the individuality of looks.
The eclectic styling reflected what designers like Masha Popova and Oscar Ouyang presented on their runway.
Others chose a more minimalist vibe. Washed black and indigo wide-leg jeans were styled with cozy knits, tailored layers and sneakers. Other fits were slimmer but worn low and loose on the waist.
Dark wash jeans and jackets flexed their versatility, paired with everything from cropped tweed jackets to camouflage cargo shorts and slouch boots.
