Wide Receivers
Denzel Boston, Washington
On being a physical receiver:
“I think that is my game. I’m a big, physical receiver and I think I also got many other traits to bring to the table besides that.”
On where he feels he needs to improve his game:
“Where I need to polish my games, I think it’s a lot of areas. I’m going into to my rookie season this next season. I think from playing with my hands better in terms of coming off my release, getting to the second level. Release work can always be polished and also the top of routes, being more efficient getting out of your breaks is also another thing you can polish. I’m never going to put a ceiling on myself. I think I can always be more polished and be more efficient.”
KC Concepcion, Texas A&M
On what teams like about him:
“Again they like my competitiveness, they like my versatility. I can play any position on the field. I can throw the ball, I can run the ball, I can catch the ball. Something that the NFL teams feel like I can improve on is my concentration. This year I had seven drops, it’s something that I have to work on. I’m gonna work every day to fix it. Once I get that chance, I’m gonna catch every ball.”
“The things that I do well, releases, top of the route. Once I get the ball in my hands it’s electric. The things that I feel like I could work on, like I said earlier, my concentration, focusing in on the ball and then making my move. One thing also I do really well, I block in the run game, but I can get better at that also I can be more physical.”
Makai Lemon, USC
On what separates him in the class:
“Probably my fearlessness and my unwavering ability just to never back down. Things don’t go right in the road, I ain’t never going to back down, tuck my tail. I’m gonna problem solve. I’m gonna get through it.”
“Best trait? Probably the things I can do after the catch. I can turn a 2-, 3-yard route into a big gain, even possibly a touchdown. And then just my blocking. The way I can impact the team without the ball in my hands.”
