BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A seventh-grade science teacher at SFA Middle School in Bryan ISD has published a book spotlighting women in STEM fields.
Erica Dugue, who teaches science at SFA Middle School, recently released The World of STEM: Women Who Changed Science, a coloring and activity book designed for upper elementary and middle school students.
About the book
The book introduces students to women from across STEM fields through illustrations, short text, and reflection prompts. It covers contributions women have made to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics throughout history.
Activities in the book are intended to encourage students to think critically and ask questions.
