Princess Polly opens at Roosevelt Field mall in Uniondale


Gen-Zers seeking fashion inspo on TikTok may have come across the clothing brand Princess Polly. The social media-driven shop has been delivering trendy fashion pieces since 2010, but it wasn’t until this past fall that the online brand opened its first Long Island storefront in Roosevelt Field mall in Uniondale.

“It’s the third of Princess Polly’s New York fleet,” along with Westchester and SoHo, says Vinnie Kendrick, the store’s head retail manager.

According to the brand’s mission statement, Princess Polly had “humble beginnings,” starting from a beachside apartment on Australia’s Gold Coast, but quickly rising to a household name among online shoppers in the market for affordable clothes that range from everyday wear to special-event attire.

The brand’s target audience is adolescents to young adults, with the main demographic being women aged 16 to 25.

Upon entering the Uniondale storefront, you’ll spot the hottest styles in clothing and accessories, as well as the aesthetic appeal of the store itself. Kendrick notes the attention to detail, with “silver chrome fixtures and sequins” throughout the shop.

“It’s a great addition,” Kendrick says, following in the wake of other online stores’ grand openings in the mall, such as Edikted, and bringing more affordable, fashionable options for shoppers.

While the stores main focus is “going out clothes,” it has a wide line of elevated pieces for everyday wear, giving “the person who just wants to dress up” alternative styles.

Shoppers can also browse the online store’s “As Seen On” section to see what influencers and creators have been spotted wearing.

Prices range from $30 for T-shirts and up to $100 for dresses.
