The Pokémon Company International has confirmed the track list for the Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue Game Music Collection: Game Boy Jukebox, which was revealed in this week’s Pokémon Presents presentation.
Priced at £59.99 ($69.99), this special collection presents the chance for you to set out on a “nostalgic audio tour” in the Kanto region.
The sound toy has been modelled after the original Game Boy. It comes with a storage case and 45 cartridges that you can insert into the device to hear a familiar melody or sound effect from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue.
“You can now play all 45 songs from the games on this small player inspired by the Game Boy system,” Junichi Masuda explained. “We took particular care to make the audio sound just like Game Boy, so I hope you enjoy listening while swapping out cartridges.”
The screen and buttons are decorative only, and the device requires three LR44 button cell batteries to be used (with those included for demonstration purposes only).
The Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue Game Music Collection: Game Boy Jukebox is available to purchase through the Pokémon Center in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada.
