There are a total of 5 locked safes found throughout Grace’s sections of Resident Evil Requiem, each of which contain valuable resources. Here’s how to find their combinations and what’s waiting for you inside.
Resident Evil Requiem Safe Codes and Combinations Guide
Grace can find a total of 5 safes throughout the game: 3 in Rhodes Hill and 2 in the ARK. There’s technically a sixth safe in Rhodes Hill’s Waiting Room, but due to bureaucratic shenanigans, it’s been left open when you arrive.
Each safe’s combination can be found in a file that’s located somewhere else in the nearby area, although some are a good distance away or well-guarded by monsters.
Opening all 5 locked safes over the course of the game unlocks the trophy/achievement No Safe is Safe, which also counts as a Challenge in the in-game Bonuses menu.
Leon cannot interact with the safes in Rhodes Hill in any way. However, only he can find the file that contains one of the safe combinations, which is then transmitted to Grace via your inventory screen.
On Insanity difficulty, the safes have different combinations, but the files that provide the combinations haven’t been moved.
Rhodes Hill Bar & Lounge Safe
You might not see it on your first visit to the Bar & Lounge, but there’s a safe behind the bar. There are enough zombies in this small room that it’s usually a good idea to sneak through it without a fight, then return later as Leon to clean the place out.
The combination to this safe can be found in the Office, in the Bar & Lounge Safe Code file that’s been left out on a desk.
On Casual/Normal mode, the Bar & Lounge Safe combination is Tap to Reveal. It contains 3 Antique Coins.
On Insanity mode, the Bar & Lounge Safe combination is Tap to Reveal. It contains 3 Antique Coins.
Rhodes Hill Examination Room Safe
The safe in the Examination Room is in the operating theater near the corpse. It’s easy to spot.
The combination is a little harder to find. Once you run into the Chunk outside the Head Researcher’s Office, backtrack to the first floor and either kill him or lose him in the corridors.
Once you’ve gotten the Chunk off the stairs, go back to the room where he first appeared to find the Examination Room Safe Code file.
On Casual/Normal mode, the Examination Room Safe combination is Tap to Reveal. It contains 3 Antique Coins.

Rhodes Hill Basement Safe
The safe in the Basement of Rhodes Hill can be found in the unlabeled room north of Processing, near the forklift. You can reach this room either by using a joint plug on the door near the furnace or by opening the crawlspace in the Workshop.
Notably, this is the one safe in the game where Grace can’t find the combination on her own. As Leon, you must open the warped cabinet in the Attic with your hatchet to find the Basement Safe Code file, which Grace can then read via your inventory screen. Because she’s psychic.
On Casual/Normal mode, the Basement Safe combination is Tap to Reveal. It contains a box of Handgun Ammo and the Raccoon Roundup Map (Rhodes Hill). The latter automatically labels most of the Mr. Raccoon statues in Rhodes Hill on your in-game map, in case you missed any on your trip through the clinic.
On Insanity mode, the Basement Safe combination is Tap to Reveal. It contains Handgun Ammo and, in the unlikely event you didn’t get it on your first run, the Raccoon Roundup Map.
ARK Sterilization Chamber Safe
The safe in the ARK’s Sterilization Chamber can be found on the counter in its northeast corner, under the window to Chemical Storage. It’s surrounded by broken glass, so you’ll need to be careful on approach to avoid making enough sound to alert the nearby Lickers.
Its code can’t be found until after you leave. The Sterilization Chamber Safe Code file is in the open Umbrella-branded storage container south of Bioweapon Repository 05. On a blind run, this means you may end up turning around and going right back into the Licker-infested Sterilization Chamber to collect the resources from the safe.
On Casual/Normal mode, the Sterilization Chamber Safe’s combination is Tap to Reveal. It contains a Molotov Cocktail, Handgun Ammo, and a Med Injector.

ARK Monitor Control Room Safe
The final safe in Requiem can be found in the Monitor Control Room outside the door to the Archives, on the bench against its back wall.
Its code isn’t particularly hidden, but can be a hassle to reach. In Bioweapon Repository 05, you can use the switches on the sides of the storage containers to open them and loot whatever’s inside.
However, the northeastern container is both at an intersection point between two patrolling Lickers and has a zombie waiting for you inside it. If you’re able to kill or evade all the monsters, you can retrieve the Monitor Control Room Safe file from inside the container.
On Casual/Normal mode, the Monitor Control Room Safe’s combination is Tap to Reveal. It contains a Bottle of Acid, an Empty Bottle, and a Med Injector.
