Barcelona are once again being linked with a move for Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven in the summer transfer window.
According to Diario Sport, Barcelona are stepping up their monitoring of the Dutchman as they look to bring in a left-footed center-back this summer.

It’s previously been reported that Alessandro Bastoni was Barcelona’s top target but that option seems to be fading as the Italian looks set to renew with Inter.
Van de Ven, however, may be on the lookout for a new club. Spurs are enduring a miserable campaign in the Premier League and are currently flirting with relegation.
Sport say that Real Madrid are also keen on Van de Ven but are confident he would choose Barcelona if presented with the two options this summer.
The defender is valued at around €65 million and is said to be on Barca’s “final list of options” when it comes to strengthening the defence this summer.
